Our service was switched with no notification or training on a Friday (our busiest day), it has been three weeks, still no proper training, my account manager will not return my call or respond to emails. I chatted and ask to speak with a supervisor, I was told that I wan not able to speak to a supervisor but they would review my chat. Really, this is how they treat customers.

I signed up for my small business to integrate it with my new crm. I ended up not changing crms and didnt need the vonage account. I had it for 13 days without even using it and wasn’t told it was a year contract. I was under the assumption it was month to month. Even though i didnt make one phone call or use the system, they still charged me $250.00 cancelation fee. This is horrible customer service. I would have even excepted a prorated fee. I will be sure to tell everyone to not do business with vonage. This has to be one of the worst experiences for me.

I signed up with this company looking for a number for my business. They took more than 72 hours and still no phone number. When I signed up with a different courier, they waste my time even more in the name of someone has to call me to cancel the account. Please save yourself time and stress, this company is bad luck and time wasters.

I have been a customer of Vonage Business since 2009, more than 12 years as of the time of this review. To date, my service performance has been hit and miss, but there has been much more uptime than not. Support in the past has been helpful, however the experience I had today has totally turned me off to this company.
My business credit card expired last month and needed to be update, as it has many other times. I forgot to update it in their system and the company attempted to charge my monthly fees today. The charge was obviously declined. Normally, I would receive a courtesy email to update my card information in their system at my earliest convenience.
This time, it is the evening before Thanksgiving and I am already spending time with family. A support representative called me to let me know that I needed to update my card information with him immediately over the phone. When I told him that I was not comfortable providing that information to him over the phone, and also explaining that I was on vacation with family, he insisted that I get my credit card and update it over the phone. He even noted that I had been with them since 2009, and that I was a “valued customer”…
After this experience, I have decided to switch my VOIP provider ASAP. The card information could have been updated as normal within 24-48 hours rather than spur of the moment over the phone. I can’t believe that a major provider such as Vonage would act so unprofessionally. I’ve always been on time with my payments for their service and they take payment every month via autopay…but not for much longer…
I didn’t even get the 14 day free…
I didn’t even get the 14 day free trial like promised. They just charged my account then suspended my account without even sending an email why. I had to contact customer service. The guy that answered was rude and said “if you are worried about your money then contact Fraud Department.” I contacted Fraud Department and they said they needed to verify my business. I understand verifying my business but that could have been done during the 14 day trial or before you take my money out of my account and suspending services.

I signed up recently the agent Alejandro Velazquez, offer me a plan of $30 dollars a month. The next day I am being charge ($25 + $15+ $99.94 + 37.87). I summit a request for a refund and they haven’t gotten back to me. The agent that I file the complain said ” I don’t know why they are charging you that much”.
I don’t recommend it to sign up, the sales agent are not reliable and not trust worthy.

When I started my job, my employer was already using Vonage at our 2 office locations. Long story short, our sister office decided to switch to another phone service, but my office continued to use Vonage. That’s when I inherited the monster. Ever since our sister office split off the plan, we have had nothing but unresolved glitches for the past 11 months. In 11 months, I’ve just today received a call from a human at Vonage, and that was only after I informed my Live Chat rep that I was considering switching to another phone provider. Here are the glitches we deal with daily: We have 4 extensions at our office, and sometimes the texts from our clients appear on all of our mobile apps, and sometimes they don’t, which means we sometimes accidentally “ignore”our clients. When I live chatted about this, I was told, “if it isn’t happening right at this moment while we are chatting, there is nothing I can do to help you.” Our outgoing call numbers are not the same number our clients are familiar with. I was told there is no way to resolve this, since we each need our own extension, our outgoing calls are the internal numbers associated with our unique extensions. This means that clients often ignore our calls, because they don’t recognize the number. Finally, when setting up our account Vonage mis-titled our business name, and after several attempts to get it changed, it is still wrong.
