Voicemail not working. Quality of call not great. Initial Bill clarity poor. Automatically enrolled in Autopay without asking. The Voicemail complaint I reported. They responded . They said they rebooted and told me to reboot the Voiply box. I did as they said , but still voicemail problem exists and I think they too admit they can’t do anything about it by just repeatedly saying reboot the box. When calls come echoes are there and background noises as others have felt in the review. Bill Clarity , I did mention before : enrolling in a hurry thinking the bill is $8.?? and later receiving the bill for $12.??.
Not sure why I didn’t check Yelp…
Not sure why I didn’t check Yelp unless I was unable to find VoIPLy here. I signed up in June 2020. I had issues from the start. While the Customer Service is really quick and appears helpful, the issues never ceased. I would have dropped calls and calls simply not coming through. I paid for a year and gave it 6 months. I really, really wanted to like VoIPLy but it was a nightmare. If I choose to have a home phone, I need to know that it will work 99.9% of the time. They initially tried to tell me it was my internet speed but I have fiber optic and I also have been working at home with zero-dropped WebEx calls and video. I would really like for them to refund 50% of my fees but I know that will never happen.
The price advertisement was $8.95…
The price advertisement was $8.95 monthly. At checkout they described Tax $3.04 and $8.95 monthly in 2 rows without giving or displaying the Total $11.99. At checkout I could not make out whether Tax was included in the monthly payment or we had to add both. Only after porting , we can know the correct bill. A kind of misinformation tactics. Quality looks good , I have been only 2 days as a customer.
I recently switched from VONAGE VoIP…
I recently switched from VONAGE VoIP service to VoIPLy. Main reason is Price and ability receive to txt to my VOIP #. Installation and setup was very easy. Sound quality is acceptable and Call Forwarding works well. SPAM Bot is built-in to work with NomoRobo. Portal interface is a bit weak, not intuitive and is not well organized on the page; nevertheless it is functional. ***Customer support is the best.***
Annual pricing is inviting but no pro-rated refunds if you leave the service.
I am generally satisfied and I recommend VoIPLy service.
I hope the iPhone app is released soon as that would solve some of my issues.
I think that if i had researched more…
I think that if i had researched more prior to buying it would have been better for me. I believe the customer service here is second to none. However if you are on a dsl router out in the boondocks you may not get good service. But customer service is wonderfully patient and they make you feel important and that means a lot.
I got VoIPly since I work from home and…
I got VoIPly since I work from home and needed a phone line for day to day meetings. So far it works 70% of the time. A lot of times my audio cuts in and out when I am on meetings or it gets garbled. I have to then switch to my cell phone or use computer audio (voip) for the meeting.
For sporadic usage this is a fine product. For every day use when you are on meetings 5-6 hours a day, it’s not an ideal experience. I’ve had days where the audio would be garbled for 1/2 a day which makes it useless.

Charles was great in helping me restore the service for my phone quickly with professionalism and knowledge. I appreciate his problem-solving skills, patience, and his willingness to go the extra mile to help a 75-year old customer who is not tech-savvy.
I always get excellent customer support from Voiply every time . I believe
Voiply customer service is above the crowd. Will recommend Voiply to my friends and relatives.
They charged me for 1 year. I had…
They charged me for 1 year. I had given them my cell phone number, as alternative number to call. They entered my cell phone number as spam. As such I cannot call my VOIP number from my cell phone. Ryan and others could not fix it. So I paid $40 to ATT to change my cell phone number. I cannot call from VOIP line, because 75% of the time, the voice breaks (my internet speed is over 200 mbps). On certain days, when I call, the VOIP line will say it will cot me 6 cents per minute, and then immediately disconnect the phone. Though I have spam and telemarketing call blocked, Ryan did something, so now I get numerous spam and telemarketing calls. I have called several dozens of time with problem, they say that they will fix it. But it never gets fixed. Don’t select this complant, even if it’s free!!!!
When I first chose VOIPLY, I was a bit…
When I first chose VOIPLY, I was a bit skeptical because the price was one of the low in the market. However, once I received the modem and tested out the call quality, it was surprisingly good. So, I ordered two more lines. Then, that’s when the complication started because VOIPLY use very unique web-based portal for each account, and I had some issues logging in. Then, this is how I found out the quality of their customer and tech support. It was just amazing, and they treat you like the VIP client. I am totally satisfied both for the quality of the call and their customer support. I recommend this company to all of my friends who use VOIP.
The set up and number porting was quite…
The set up and number porting was quite simple and went fairly smoothly. I did have to make a call for tech support, but all was good………for a while! Then I was getting dropped calls, callers unable to call my number, me being unable to call certain other numbers, unable to have a conversation due to a very bad connection, (tried calling the number 3 times), used cell phone in the end! They try to tell me my router is part of the problem, I’ve had the router for 3 years and it worked great with the previous VOIP provider that I had! After calls to tech support the phone would well for a while, then back to square one again! I am done with this company!

Editor’s Bottom Line of VoIPly
With headquarters based in Pittsburgh, PA, VoIPLy is dedicated to the mission of providing reliable, simple, and cost effective Unified Communications. With a major focus on the SMB market, VoIPLy offers a very competitive Business plan that rivals some of the largest providers. With such a low entry cost, no contracts or setup fees, and 60 included features, VoIPLy already has a recipe for a compelling offering. However, add in a 30 day money back guarantee, and on top of it free IP phones for your new service, and VoIPLy brings to the table one of the best solutions for any business migrating over to a Hosted PBX.
While the free phones are basic, VoIPLy helps remove some of the initial barrier to entry VoIP, and even allows users to upgrade to more advanced phones. But if phones aren’t all you need, then VoIPLy should have you covered with a massive feature set — including Auto Attendants, Toll Free Numbers, International Dialing, Call Recording, Online Meeting and even Video Conferencing for no extra cost. VoIPLy themselves explain how the provider aims to stay at the forefront of technology and innovation, and that is evident in the inclusion of not only Online Meetings but even a Developer API to build your own unique integrations.
In fact, the inclusion of access to a Developer API helps set VoIPLy apart from other similar providers, aiming towards the SMB side of the market. While a cost effective VoIP solution isn’t very difficult to come by, one that includes as much as VoIPLy does (including IP phones and a Developer API) is fairly unique. For the teams that still need it, Virtual Faxing is included with VoIPLy service as well — which can be a major factor for certain SMBs, depending on the industry.
Support should have you covered as well. VoIPLy offers both 24/7 email and live chat, along with phone support for 8am to 8pm EST. While a relatively new company into the Hosted PBX and VoIP industry, VoIPLy still manages to offer one of the most compelling Business plans for the cost conscious SMB. While not their main audience, VoIPLy does have a strong enough solution for even larger sized teams that need a simple and easy VoIP solution, especially when migrating from a legacy system.
