I find that Voiply was a very good choice in my cord cutting away from Optimum. The price is right and the few problems that I have had have been cleared in the chat. Let me just say the problems were few. I have and will continue to recommend Voiply. On another note, there have been times in a long conversation where the call is dropped. I am sure some of the reasons are on the other end and not a Voiply problem. Still, that is not enough to nor recommend the service.
Leah helped me today and she was so much fun to talk to on the chat feature. Friendly, funny, but most of all was knowledgeable! Took care of what I needed and made me laugh at the same time. If all companies had people like Leah, they would be much better off. Leah is an asset to Voiply! Give Leah a raise, Voiply!
I had a quick question about setting up new service and Paul at Voiply responded rapidly. Not only that, he provided an excellent solution to my issue and got me set up in a very short time. So far, I’m extremely pleased with the support and service. I have yet to use it long-term, but if the first day is any indication it will be great.

had verizon for 20+ yrs. and they would charge if i had a problem OUTSIDE. Got the internet a few yrs ago and had nothing to loose to try voiply. very happy. easy to set up, they ported my number, and the price is 1/3rd the price i was paying. the scambot (i think) is great. the phone rings about HALF as much as it used to. scam feature cuts the call before it even rings in the house. the peace and quiet alone has made it worthwhile and for 12 bucks, you can’t beat it plus i can see all the calls coming and going on the call log page. great, very happy
We recently switched over from Vonage. Main driver was price but Voiply has some other advantages. Everyone talks about their customer service. It’s not BS. In the past month I have chatted with them several times. I believe you can get a real human in minutes 24/7. And they help resolve issues extremely well.
One feature that seems it should be better is the SpamBot. In our Vonage set-up, we used NoMoRobo via simultaneous ring. The SPAM call would ring once and then hang up. Voiply’s SPAM management is supposedly an integration on NoMoRobo right into Voiply’s system. Why on earth then would it take 2 and occasionally 3 rings to shut down a SPAM call. If it’s not as fast or faster than setting up a simultaneous ring (like Vonage) then why not just do it that way and give customers a better experience.
I would also like to see better call log features. Number one on the missing list is the ability to download into Excel to slice & dice the calls.
A feature that we like better in Voiply than Vonage is how the app works in receiving calls on our mobile devices. With Vonage, it was a straight simultaneous ring where as in Voiply it comes into the Voiply app as data. Maybe a subtle difference but several advantages to this approach: 1) by not coming in as a call, it will never go to the mobile’s voice mail if unanswered or if the mobile is turned off; 2) you can set a different ring tone from calls so you know it’s a forwarded land line call; 3) If you are in a foreign country with no or expensive cell service, the home calls will come in as data. We were also pleasantly surprised to see that the app still connects to Bluetooth in the car.
Just switched over from a cable supplier and was very pleased with the support team getting number ported and setup. One clitch when switching over from temporary number. Notified the support team and the problem was resolved in less then 10 minutes. Vern caught that the number for faxes had not been assigned yet so she took care of that and everything is up and running now. I would give Vern and the rest of the support team an 10+

Great Price! Great Service! After nearly two years of uninterrupted service, my VoiP Adapter failed. We could not make calls out, and all incoming calls went direct to our Voicemail. Thankfully, with Voiply’s email notifications that we have a voice mail, we never missed an important call. The technicians at Voiply helped I.D. the issue, and immediately shipped a new Adapter. Upon the easy change of Adapters, our phone was back to proper working order within minutes. Thanks Voiply!
I really tried to work with these people and to push them to support their products and their offered services. In the end (three months) I failed to get any of the features they promise to be reliable, although the call quality was better than others. I changing my service, waiting for the porting to clear with the new provider.
The cons outweighed those features:
Incoming calls do not ring the local phone.
Voice mail doesn’t work on their app.
Features have bad side effects (fail for no reasons).
Support’s job #1 is to blame you for a problem. And to not tell what they did attempt to fix a reported problem.
