I was struggling to find an affordable phone service that could handle both my personal calls and occasional work needs without breaking the bank. Most options I looked at either had hidden fees or poor call quality, which was frustrating. Then I discovered AxVoice, and it turned out to be a great solution. The free hardware and activation made switching easy, and the pricing is reasonable with unlimited local and international calling. The call management tools, like voicemail and call forwarding, have been really helpful, and the voice quality is consistently clear.
On the downside, customer support can take a bit longer to respond than I’d prefer, but it hasn’t been a major issue for me so far. Overall, AxVoice has been a reliable choice that delivers good value.

Pros: Affordable pricing, clear call quality, easy setup.
Cons: Customer support response time could be faster.

AxVoice: Unreliable Service, Hidden Fees, and Nonexistent Customer Support

I signed up for a full year of VoIP service, expecting reliable communication and a smooth experience. However, after just three months, my account was suspended due to an alleged "failure to pay"—despite already paying in full upfront.

The service quality is questionable at best. Calls drop after 15 minutes, making it unreliable for any serious use. There’s also a 10-second delay after dialing before calls even begin to ring, which adds to the frustration.

One of the biggest disappointments is their false advertising of a live chat support feature—it does not exist. Clicking on “Chat Now” simply redirects you back to their website, and the only contact method available is a webform, which they never respond to.

Before signing up, check their BBB rating—it reflects a troubling pattern of unresolved complaints and questionable business practices. Once they have your payment, don’t expect any real service or support, and if you run into problems, don’t expect them to help. Their lack of customer service and dishonest practices make AxVoice a high-risk choice for VoIP services.

Pros: None.
Cons: Unreliable Service, Hidden Fees, and Nonexistent Customer Support.

Over the years, I have continuously switched between various VoIP services for my small business. Some too slow, some not good enough, and some with barely any features. Through it all, not once have I come across a service like AxVoice. Basically its vast feature range, flawless call quality, and lack of call droppings have made it the only VoIP service that I have used for more than 6 months. Still using it and can say that you will not regret investing in AxVoice.

Pros: Call forwarding, voicemail, and my ability to retain previous numbers make it very easy to keep in touch with all clients at an affordable rate.
Cons: Wish they would work more on their online dashboard.

AxVoice has completely revamped my business. WIth my business and team heavily relying on calls for sales, I had been having a hard time finding a VOIP service that was worth the money. All the services I tried were either too heavy on my pocket or had very poor call quality. AxVoice sorted that issue because it is not only affordable but also with premium service. I have yet to come across a voice quality issue or complaint from my team in the past month. Did not have to go to customer service even once since the installation of the hardware.

Pros: Have been using three different monitoring apps for their different features because I could never find all highly functioning features in one app. After one of the apps I was using discontinued their services, I decided to give Xnspy a try, since it came highly recommended from fellow parents. After 6 months now, I have discontinued all my other subscriptions because I literally do not need any other app with it. IT IS THAT GOOD. Activity logs, live location tracking, alerts, remote commands, and much more in a single app. Genuinely impressed and highly recommend it.
Cons: A few calls dropped but it is not a persistent issue.

I have got to change 3 Voip services since last year and saying it by experience that Ax Voice is the best of all others. The call quality is superb, and you get free equipment and installation. I can make unlimited domestic and international calls, and there are so many features from voicemail, caller id, call forwarding, and simultaneous ring.

Pros: Keep current number, numerous features, and budget friendly rates.
Cons: The online dashboard is not modern and at times, the call quality drops.

Not what I expected, when I bought it I was expecting a service that came with subpar audio quality like all my previous experiences but I was surprised to find out that it was not the case. The call quality spoke for AxVoice premium service and I knew they really cared about their customers when they offered free equipment and installation. Now, I call as my heart wills both internationally and domestically without any issues with call drops or audio lags.

Pros: Offers an amazing feature range at a reasonable rate.
Cons: The layout should be better.

If you are looking for affordable communication service, then look no further. AX Voice will prove to be the best decision. I know I am, as the quality and features are better than most other options that are available. It offers free hardware and activation. Moreover, pricing is very competitive. You can enjoy unlimited local and international calls, as well as built-in call management tools.

Pros: Easy installation, good voice quality, no hassle.
Cons: The response from the customer support team is often delayed.

Please DO NOT go with this company. Axvoice is a total scam.
Its been a week trying to activate my account with no luck. I have sent a dozen messages to the tech support team. I hear back from them every couple of days with no answers.
FACT: On there website, they claim to have a chat feature. Wrong! it does NOT work.
Email only is the way to contact them.
I am in the process of going to Oooma. They actually have a phone number and a person will answer the phone!

Pros: None.
Cons: No Support.

I was with Axvoice for a year and decided to cancel. At this time I was charged $48 for hardware that I was never provided because I signed up for their bring your own hardware plan (plugging an IP phone directly into the router). Their terms and conditions allow them to charge you for anything they deem appropriate which it appears includes imaginary hardware. Buyer beware!

Pros: None.
Cons: Charged for Imaginary Hardware.

TLDR; LEARN FROM ME - SAVE YOUR MONEY - TRY OOMA INSTEAD
(NOT A SPONSOR JUST A PISSED FORMER AXVOICE CUSTOMER)

I started with Axvoice in 2017 because it was a very inexpensive option for a "landline" where I had internet but no cell reception.

Since then the price went from near $12/month to around $30/month for the services I was using.

Previously "included" features became paid extras and I quite litterally got to the point that my line was being taken over to the point I could not call into or out of my own number 75% of the time.

I would try and call out and get picked up by several different people all with different accents saying "hello, hello." When I knew for a fact I was trying to call my own cell phone number.

I would have to call 3 times to get through to my wife or vice versa, and when I requested help through AXVOICES pathetic excuse for a ticket system they had the nerve to ask if my dial pad was dirty.

I had 3 cordless phones and I'd try on all of them with the same results. It would happen randomly with no warning like someone was tapped into their network and using my number face for their call centre at times or something.

I'm in my 30's and run a maintenance service and set up my own businesses website and all, I'm no tech genius, but I know how to troubleshoot and do basic google searches to problem solve most of my simpler IT issues,.

Upon cancelation I asked what I had to send back to avoid charges.

They informed me I was already being charged and had 10 days to send it back, with a tracking ID to their satisfaction and once it arrived I could reach out for a refund.

Given the lack of support I recieved as a paying customer I decided not to waste more time, energy or money paying for shipping and just took the $39.99 charge and told them to get bent since I expected to get a run around to maybe get the $20 back after paying the shipping for tracking cross border.

I switched to Ooma, and have been able to contact someone to speak to from a support team whenever needed while working through porting my number and setting up my new account which includes far more features and capabilities for about the same $30 I was already paying.

If I can save one poor soul from going through the waste of time I had this review will be worth it.

Pros: WAS CHEAP AT START.
Cons: DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
