From day one, the service had issues. The quality of calls was not great, even after I upgraded to high-speed internet. Voicemail access is touch and go, messages disappear without being listened to. Eventually, it stopped working altogether. Customer service would email me one small suggested fix. It wouldn’t work. Another one. Wouldn’t work. Eventually they stopped responding to my emails – they literally gave up trying to fix my issue. I still have no idea why it wouldn’t work. Because of their delayed and incomplete responses, I went a few weeks without having a working line. They refused to refund me for any of that month. Then, when I cancelled my service, they charged my credit card for the adapter on the day of cancellation, before they even asked me to return it (which, by the way, they do not send you packaging or postage for)! The whole thing felt like a scam. Definitely do not use these guys.

I read the reviews and thought I would give them a try. During the purchase, I input all of my NetGear router information so that they could configure the unit for my settings. I was never able to make outgoing calls, and after 4 days of ongoing email tickets, they were unable to resolve the issue. Customer Service is non-existant! There is NO LIve Chat (even though they show a link on their website), there is NO phone number to call, they only respond by email and never with complete answers and information. I would wait 8-10 hours on average for an email reply and they would not call me to get my settings resolved. I cancelled the service.

In the beginning (2015) the introductory rate and service were good.
Of course prices went up after the first year, service remained the same.
By the third year pricing was equal the the highest price competitors, and service had dropped.
Last month i could not receive incoming calls, and my message service had functioned erratically. Writing an email seemed awkward and phone and chat were non-existent. A reply came three days latter, advising to reboot the router and phone router in which were done several times by that time.
and never answered my reply that that was of no help.
I can not emphasize enough how much i advise a prospective client to avoid this company.
In needing reliable phone service i sought out another provider, and canceled my service. Almost immediately thereafter 39.99 was removed from my account for hardware. I had sent back hardware as described and then my bank account was debited for another months subscriber fee.
Mind you there is no response still from Axvoice.

Since there have been no remedies to the problem of not being able to make phone calls out of my land line at home, I am cancelling our service with you. I understood that 24/7 support meant phone support or immediate support. I was lucky to get one email a day, often with very little information or a redundant task I had already done.
Also your website said there is “Chat”, but there is no “”Chat”. No phone number at all for support, billing, sales, information-nothing!!! It has been more frustrating not to know how to handle your very poor services.
Your website is impressive, but it misrepresents the services you offer. Also caller ID services cost extra. Therefore I have ported my landline phone to my cell phone carrier elsewhere and have disputed all charges from your company. Also, don’t bother charging me an early termination fee of $39.99…I have never been totally hooked up.
I will send all of your equipment back, but you do need to send me a return label so that I can get it back to you. Any reviews I leave will be totally honest from the experience I had with your company. The old saying is true in this case “You get what you pay for…”
They indicate that they have live chat…
They indicate that they have live chat, they do not. It does not work. They do not have live chat. There is no phone number for support, everything is only through email, in which case, they rarely respond. They are not easy to work with when attempting to transfer number. Their call logs were only offered in EST and I’m in PST, so I constantly have to to do math when cross referencing my logs. There were incidences where my phone never rang and missed calls just showed up on my missed call log.

They have blocked numbers; my friends; from calling into my number. What good is a service when no one can call you.

I installed voip with Axvoice over one month ago. I have emailed and called customer service 4 times and I am still waiting for a response.
When I signed up for their service, the website said that it would take 2 to 3 weeks for my phone number to port. I am still waiting and am currently looking for another service as I want to keep my old telephone number.
It is very frustrating to not get a response leaving me no choice but to find another company that actually has a customer service person.
