I’m glad I found 1-Voip & am very happy with their service. I originally signed up with another company whose name started with “Oo”. When I ordered their device, they assured me they could port my old number. I received the device & set it up. Sound quality was poor. I called to have my number ported & was told it was not possible. I then said I wanted to cancel the service & they made it very difficult to do. BAD experience. (By the way, I had to buy the device for $120 & they would have charged $40 to do the port.) Then I found 1 Voip. I asked a LOT of questions due to the bad experience with “Oo”. I decided to give it a try. Device arrived quickly & sound quality was excellent. I initiated the port (1-Voip does that for FREE & the device is also free) & it was complete in 9 days – & 1-Voip CALLED to inform me the port was completed. I had been getting several spam calls a day but with 1-Voip they are completely gone. I love that I can get voice messages via e-mail. And they have great pricing.
I needed to find a means of keeping my home phone and number after dropping services with Xfinity including the VOIP phone service with them. (I kept my internet service with them) 1VoIP seemed to be the best choice for me of all the ones I looked at online. I chose the annual payment plan which was a substantial savings over the cost at Xfinity.
I spoke with their customer service group several times prior to placing my order and they were all very helpful and courteous. The porting process, receipt of equipment and installation all went very well. I also like the small footprint of the equipment as space is at a premium on the nightstand near the bed where our phone base unit sits.
The sound quality seems to be about the same as earlier services although my recorded message sounds “off” just a bit. The only thing that I miss is the ability to have incoming call information displayed on the TV, but all things considered I would highly recommend this service.
Their technical support is fantastic….They go above and beyond other services….I was having a glitch with my internet provider and they walked me thru it until everything was perfect….Thank you…..The patience and understanding for what was happening to my phone service was unbelievable….I would recommend them anytime !!!!
I was with Comcast and eventually wanted to find a more affordable phone company. I didn’t need an unlimited plan but that was all Comcast offered. My main concerns with switching were reliability and call quality.
After researching I came across reviews for 1-VoIP. I ordered the service and crossed my fingers. I was VERY pleasantly surprised with 1-VoIP.
The call quality is clear. The service is reliable and much more affordable than Comcast. I’m saving over $50 per month with 1-Voip. I have the value plan for $8.97 per month. After taxes it’s $13.97. I don’t know if taxes vary by state or not. The plan has 500 minutes of outbound calls (about 8 hours and 33 minutes) and unlimited inbound calls each month. That’s more than enough for me.
1-VoIP offers way more features than I need. So I can’t comment on them all. I’m old school. I place one call at a time and hang up when I’m finished.
The customer service is excellent. They are knowledgeable, friendly and speak perfect English.
If you need a voip landline from a solid company give 1-VoIP a try.
I have been a user of the 1-VoiP service for at least 5 years and every time I have had occasion to call the support line, even for things I could have looked up in the user manual, I have received nothing but absolute top grade service and professionalism. Having a USA based customer support service is a big deal as far as I am concerned and I can wholeheartedly recommend 1-VoiP for anyone looking for a VoiP provider. In an industry with not too much to differentiate the offerings, Service becomes the Unique Selling Point and I give 1-Voip 10/10 for this.
I’ve been with the company for a long time, and while I am phasing out now due to a change in life, I was reluctant to leave.. they have been a good base for me for years. I’ve used a couple of other VOIP providers and found them lacking .. especially Vonage, which I find insidious in trying to promote itself and override my personal needs with their software which is intrusive. 1-Voip meets me where I am and provides what I need in a courteous professional and seamless way.
I have had some issues with equipment in the past, that they were able to trouble hoot and provided new equipment expeditiously. Highly recommend.
As a forever user, I was concerned about giving up my AT&T landline. However, the switch was very easy and 1-VoiP has worked out all the details and makes the transition easy. Was able to retain my old AT&T number so cutting the cord has been a very pleasant experience and also a real money saver. Service has been great from the get-go.
I switched from T-Mobile Line Link for my home phone to 1-VOIP hoping that their service would work with the new T-Mobile Home Internet. TMO Line Link stopped working after I switch to TMO Home Internet. TMO told me that there is an issue and that it would be resolved in a few weeks with a new firmware download. That was a few months ago and still no firmware download. I switched to 1-VOIP, received my device but still no VOIP service. But today I spoke with a tech at 1-VOIP who mentioned that their techs had come up with a workaround, changing the port they were using, for customers that are using the TMO Home Internet device (Nokia). In just a few minutes I was up and running!!
Thank you 1-VOIP for your great customer service and taking the initiative to work through the TMO issue and devise a workaround. I will now go onto the TMO Home Internet forum and let everyone know that they should switch to 1-VOIP so they can get up and running and dump the TMO Link Link!
I was assisted by Ihor, who was a tremendous help to me and to the company. Understanding a new phone system’s features and programs is at times daunting. Ihor was very patient, and he really listened to the hiccups that occurred from time to time. He stayed on the phone with me for the duration of the call to make sure that the setup was complete, and he also explained in detail the features that would make the phone optimal for our company needs. It is rare in today’s post-Covid work environment to find someone who is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that a client’s needs are met. I am happy to recommend Ihor as an excellent technical representative.
1-VoIP residential provides top notch voice quality and customer support at a great price. They don’t offer a lot of features, but it does everything I need and they have a similar, more full-featured business service. They offer a free network box and don’t require a contract commitment.
I tried them out by forwarding my AT&T landline to a 1-VoIP number on my home PBX, to test the Nomorobo spam blocking. It blocked about half the spam calls. After a month, I ported my number over. There were a couple of glitches, but I always got a support person on the phone and a quick response by email, and everything got resolved quickly.
Headquartered in Oklahoma City, OK, 1-VoIP was built on the premise that excellent service and support will better retain customers than long-term contracts. Editor’s Bottom Line of 1-VoIP
1-VoIP stands out from the pack with a very impressive 99.999% SLA. Their hosted PBX features are no more or no less than I would expect from a top-notch VoIP provider. Their SIP trunking rates are a good deal. Their residential service is average, but I’ve seen better prices on similar services.
