I am no stranger to VoIP so I knew what I was looking for when I came across PanTerra. I also knew what I was NOT looking for. After doing a few trials with other companies, I knew at the end of the day it really came down to support. The set up was not rushed and they took their time to make sure I had what I needed before I even ordered phones. Oh, they also dont bill you while you build out the system! The thing I like best is that I have only had to call them 3 times in the past year. Really nothing has needed fixed. I have been called from Jive, Vonage and all the rest and they try to sell me “cheaper” service, but honestly, who needs the cheapest plan when this is your business life line.

The good: PanTerra calls are generally…

The good: PanTerra calls are generally good quality and is reliable. The bad: The admin control panel is the most over-complicated, un-intuitive mess I’ve ever seen. Designed by programmers, it makes no sense to the average admin. Adding new users is over complicated and even a simple task like that requires a call to support. The desktop app, called Streams, has been abandoned by everyone at the company. Too many features are unreliable, or don’t work at all. PanTerra sold us on the promise that they were always innovating and these rough spots would be addressed quickly. After 2 years, nothing has changed. The sales suport team was very patient…

The sales suport team was very patient in explaining the use of the system before the sale, helpful in the porting stage, and knowledgable in the implentation and on boarding parts of the process. We move freom Ring Central and are happy with the choice. The virtual PBX is a great value and solid ROI for my firm.

PanTerra Networks has been wonderful…

PanTerra Networks has been wonderful to work with and we’re very satisfied with their services. I happily recommend them based off of my own experience. We discuss the efficiency of time management a lot here and they fit in perfectly as they save us time on a daily basis. They have given us a phone service and other communication tools that work well everyday. Additionally, when we need to make changes or adjustments, their support team is easily reachable through the massaging system and prompt to respond. Five stars!

Extremely easy transition from our…

Extremely easy transition from our Ring Central service to PanTerra’s UCaaS. I had deep concerns about switching phones and the complications involved with this. Mainly, I was concerned about downtime. Secondarily, I worried about the learning curve for my employees, the functionality of the features, and the general disturbances in daily life before practices become second nature. I had zero downtime. PanTerra switched on and instantly we could ring into our main number. I used the same phones I was using with the old service. The Onboarding team put together the call plans and we switched about one hour after closing one day. It was essential that we have zero downtime because of the state regulations for required after hours contacts within our industry. I was testing our phone number and it consistently rang even as we switched over. The messages and voicemail boxes were all working right away. The PanTerra team trained my team and allowed plenty of time for questions. They have offered us ongoing training also. PanTerra consistently provides crystal clear calls, helpful new features and friendly intelligent customer service. We have been with PanTerra since last summer and I am very satisfied. I have good not great internet and my phones always run. We like that PanTerra is always releasing additional features that we do not pay extra to use and they are relevant to business.

PanTerra stands by its brand…

PanTerra stands by its brand. The product is quality and functional for everything we have attempted on it. I really did not understand how much of a difference replacing my phone system could make in my office. I found out about PanTerra when I was out with my friend and he showed me how he could check in on his entire office by looking at an app. He also was able to take work calls and transfer clients back to the office without missing a beat. I had zero expertise in phone systems and explored a lot of systems after he showed me this. I found PanTerra to be the simplest and that was my #1 at that time. Since then, I have learned the real value of what PanTerra brings to the table. With the assistance of the PanTerra trainers and support, we have implemented more into daily life and watched how much more productive the office is now. PanTerra is always adding cool new features (some small and some major upgrades) so I am sure we will continue to grow because we are a client of such a great company.

I tried three other voip providers…

I tried three other voip providers before PanTerra and none of them compare to the how great PanTerra has been. My office isn’t a lot of phones, today we’re at 37 and we use a combination of some Polycom VVX 411’s I had from an old office and Polycom 601’s that I purchased from PanTerra. The set up was straightforward. I went in and entered a bit of information and their implementation team walked me through the rest. The phones that came from PanTerra were essentially “plug and play” so maybe 3 minutes a piece to set up. The first time I looked in the UI (Administrative portal) I was concerned that it may be overwhelming but I quickly realized it may not be the most colorful with a little cartoon of their logo but it’s intuitive and it works. Also, support is available through instant message so if I forget where something is, I simply ask them and I know in about 30 seconds. PanTerra actually calls to check in with us and ask for feedback. They aren’t calling to up sell without any knowledge on the product or ways to help like my former provider. I purchased internet through PanTerra also and it’s very fast. This has allowed our entire system to be majorly upgraded over all the other “popular” providers. I wish I would have found PanTerra sooner. I couldn’t be happier about this decision.

I chose PanTerra for our company…

I chose PanTerra for our company after calling multiple providers because I liked the sales person and I felt that it would be an improvement over our last provider. It was a leap of faith as PanTerra doesn’t have as many clients as those top few voip providers. I am so glad I chose them! PanTerra has allowed me to see the activity of all of my employees and have scheduled reports delivered to me regularily. The calls are crystal clear, the phones we got from PanTerra were a bargain and much better than what I see in most offices. I rarely contact support but I do it by instant messaging within my PanTerra Streams. They are quick and friendly. They support team is in Utah. Everything is managed in Streams which is so nice because it’s one login, one system to learn and just something I always have open on my computer and I can look at the app when I run out of the office. I have saved money additionally because I have been able to get rid of DropBox and Join.me. This has accounted for a substantial savings for us. The longest part of setting up was waiting for my old phone provider to “release the numbers” which took a few weeks. In the meantime, we were using our PanTerra services and phones with some set up magic PanTerra did. I have recommended PanTerra and will happily do this again. Now our monthly charges are consistent, no guessing why our bill went up by 35% and when I ask about any added feature, PanTerra always tells me they have already added it to our offering and here’s how to use it. I’ve had helpful support people throughout. Our phones have never gone down. All in all, I would say PanTerra does this better than any other company I have experienced.

My employer is a medical transport company. Because of the important nature of our work, it is crucial that clients be able to call in 24 hours a day. Panterra has been integral in the growth my company. Being able to access and control who is taking calls and monitor what our remote employees is doing at any time is critical. The fact that Panterra lets me do this efficiently vs. the old way where I had to go into multiple systems and couldn’t just glance at a page to see who’s on the phone, seems so ridiculously antiquated now. All of this and Panterra is HIPAA compliant. We were referred by another medical transport company and they were right – Panterra has saved me so many headaches and so much time.

We recently opened a second location on the other side of the city. When we decided to do this and started pricing phone and collaboration services to tie the two together, we were surprised at the huge differences between companies. We wanted our clients to have the same experience they had when we were all in one building. PanTerra ties together the two locations as if we were all in one room. Our clients have commented on how they’ve had an even better experience. We enthusiastically recommend PanTerra to other professional organizations who put clients first.

I like the idea that we can control…

I like the idea that we can control our entire phone system in one easy to use portal, working on our technology is not my main job so I need something fast and simple. I recently needed a hand with adding some new employees, I called support and they had all three users fully set up and running in under 20 minutes and that included the time I needed to crawl around my office and plug in the cords. They are always this helpful. I’ve never had an outage or anything go down, it’s great to have support for when I try to do something new. I am so relieved that they make me look good to my boss unlike our last company. PanTerra is great all around.

Our experience with PanTerra was…

Our experience with PanTerra was excellent from the start. At first, I was mainly looking to reduce our monthly costs. Then I learned how much more was available and how much time I could be saving every day. My salesperson was informed and responsive, our implementation person was experienced and spot on and the service and features were everything that we had hoped for. We operate a 40+ agent contact center and the features and reporting that PanTerra provides us is heads and shoulders above other providers that we have tried. We highly recommend PanTerra and have shared this with colleagues who have had the same excellent experience.

I want to thank everyone at PanTerra for helping us. My IT guy was out on paternity leave and our landlord had to move some items in our tech room. We had to put things back together after their work guys left. I went on chat and messaged our sales guy. He sent the info to call or chat support. I called and they walked my colleague and I, who know basically nothing about about computers, through resetting everything up. My IT guy has always said PanTerra has great support and I like my sales guy. This just shows how willing PanTerra is to go the extra mile. They did all of this with patience and made it an enjoyable experience.

Editor’s Bottom Line of PanTerra

 

PanTerra’s Stream platform is a bit of a unique offering in the market, one that does not have too many competitor’s. In the Business VoIP space, the closest comparisons to make would be to RingCentral’s Glip platform. Users gain the ability to contextualize everything they do, with team messaging at the fore front of communications. Users can create different conversations for teams, departments, projects or just one on one conversations. An update feed lets everyone know who is working on what, so Stream really expands itself into a collaboration tool just as much as a communication tool.

A softphone is built right into the app as well, but users can also utilize desk phones for a standard telephony experience. Both file sharing and collaborating is made super easy with the Stream app, which can also be accessed on desktops or on mobile devices for true mobility.
