According to California State Law a “Telecommunications Provide must submit in writing 5 days prior to disconnect”. Voice Carrier disconnected my service unlawfully on the same day they sent me a revised bill. The method used by Rick Cording and Sarah Cording on behalf of Voice Carrier was nothing less than extortion. I was forced to pay a bill I challenged and in return I received a unlawful suspension until I paid the balance. I was in a position where I had to pay and even after payment I started experiencing issues with mixed messages from their support team as to why I am experiencing issues. I wanted to update this review to encourage anyone going through the same thing to contact your Consumers Affair Branch to find out your rights. I don’t write reviews but I think it’s important for any new customer interested in doing business with this supplier. I signed up on July 12, 2018 and during the porting transition I was given credentials to setup my PBX. I called support for assistance and left a message with an operator to receive a call back. 4 days later…Nothing. Called again and the support team helped me right away. When I received my first bill it was different than quoted. Spoke with billing and they were completely unaware of the changes that they had made. I had to call and point out the issue, twice. Received the revised bill and the wording was changed from “Initial Administration Fee” to “Annual Administrative Fee” so, it looked like they were throwing in a random charge… pointed it out by email and explained how it is not taken well and the optics looked bad. ON THE SAME DAY they corrected the bill, Rick Cording CFO emailed me that he was suspending my services because he “did not like my tone”… when I was making valid complaints about their billing issues. Right now, as I am writing this review none of my customers can reach me. This is not over for me nor for Voice Carrier. Ask yourself, is this something you would like to experience? When a voice carrier can suspend your account and suspend access to your customers based on their feelings?
