When I needed help with porting my number, the customer service rep was so dismissive like she didn’t want to help at all. This service charges you 2 months upfront but I had NO access to any service for 2 weeks. They did not give me any log-in information for 2 weeks. Didn’t bother to mail my installation unit for 2 weeks, and I did not receive it for 3 weeks. So I am paying for 3 weeks, nearly a month of nothing. Then I found out that you cannot disable voicemail. I get voicemails emailed to me in a file and I have to download the audio file just to listen. I further found out that I have no access to call logs, so I can’t keep track of my calls, which is incredibly important in my work. When I started to search for a new service, VOIPLY disabled my service for several days, costing me calls and money. All of a sudden, one day the service was just magically turned back on a few days before my new service took place. When I needed an invoice that showed the number and service I purchased so I could get the line approved for work they were unable to produce one. It’s been one bad experience after another with this company.

Love the product. Love the price. Love the support staff. The only thing is the portal is difficult to learn although the staff helps to get things setup. I just wish it was a bit more user friendly so I didn’t have to rely on them as much since my voicemail greeting change.

Have used VoIPLy for over a year, I think it’s safe to say that the service leaves much to be desired. The biggest problem is certainly that you have a 50/50 shot of actually being able to place an outgoing call. It seems to be a relatively new service as many features are missing and the support staff is unfamiliar with the system. I’d highly recommend looking at a different service until VoIPLy matures.
