Fantastic service. You call support and you get a real person, after the somewhat annoying automated menus! Pretty powerful features for $50 per month including web faxing, and conferencing

Have been using the service for over a…
Have been using the service for over a year, without any major issues. Then our faxes stopped coming and going. I have a medical practice and it is very important we can send and receive faxes. The response I got from several people in their tech support was that it was issues with the fax numbers we were sending through, it was not on their end. So, dozens of faxes we fax to regularly all started having issues at the same time? That’s more plausible to them than there being an issue with their service?! I switched to another fax service and all our faxes are going through just fine.

Their customer service is absolutely terrible. Ever since I first signed up they have obviously changed the way they handle customer service. The Service provided by them was inconvenient and time consuming, so it was a horrible experience.

After searching for a low cost phone and fax system, RingCentral provided the cheapest cost with the best options. They have the unlimited plan and I do not believe you will find a better deal out there. Price others for sending and receiving over 3000 faxes a month and as a small company you will not find a better deal. We can send and receive from our email client as well from the desktop and our smart phones. My plan even allows me to use my cell phone with a phone number provided by RingCentral that acts as a business line so it keeps our private lines private while giving the customer a phone number that rings to our office which is great for after hours. We have been with RingCentral for less than a year and we have also had great service with customer service. They are always friendly and willing to stay on as long as they can.
I had an initial 2 year contract…
I had an initial 2 year contract that ran through March 2018. My business was already in trouble and I closed operations 10/28. I called to cancel services and was told that they automatically renew for an additional 2years unless you cancel 30 days ahead of your initial contract end date. Its in small print in the contract.
So I have no income and no way to cancel. The customer service people were horrible and said that theit collections agency will be coming after me for the full contract amount of another 18months.
RingCentral was founded in 1999 by Vlad Shmunis and launched officially in 2003. They were one of the first providers to stick their flag in the ground and offer cloud-based IP PBX and phone service. They offer a robust, redundant, and reliable platform that has numerous features. For over a decade, RingCentral has offered small and medium-sized businesses phone features that were previously only available to the largest and richest companies. Now, they have plenty of company, but they still lead the way.

Editor’s Bottom Line of RingCentral
Over 300,000 customers can’t be wrong. RingCentral has been a perennial favorite of VoIP review sites. They continue to innovate from either their in-house team or by making deals with smart companies. One of their best choices was to enter a partnership with Zoom, making it possible to have HD quality video conferences with large numbers of participants. Formerly, this was only available with huge hardware, some that even needed its own dedicated rooms. Instead, a laptop or tablet is now all you need. This offering is a game changer that few other providers can compete with.
RingCentral has a huge head start over today’s VoIP startups, and but they’re always looking forward rather than resting on their laurels. Every few years, they find a way to reinvent themselves and stay fresh. It’s hard to say anything bad about RingCentral, but they do seem a little vanilla. Vanilla, of course, is the most popular flavor of ice cream, so that’s good for most. But, there are some companies out there that like quirky companies and gimmicks. RingCentral stays away from the bleeding edge and sticks to software and hardware with a proven track record.
