We\’ve had Nextiva for a few years now…

We’ve had Nextiva for a few years now and literally have never had a problem. The service always works, call quality is superb, feature-rich, for a low price. The thing I love the most is their support. Often in business, we come across companies with horrible tech support. Nextiva is not one of them, their service is top-notch. Agents are patient, well-spoken, and always have been able to help us find a solution. SUGGESTION: One feature that we’d love to see is the ability to block certain phone numbers at the organization level. Right now we can only block at the individual user level. Lucky for us, our number of users is very low… but if we have 100s of users, this would be a major pain. We have a scammer calling repeatedly all day long and needed to block their number.

I needed help getting back into my app and used the chat feature on the website. My CSR Chris was extremely helpful and got me back up and running in no time! If I need any further help I don’t think I’ll have any trouble getting it from this company. I don’t know the cost of their service, but they seem like a very reliable company.

Today I spoke with Support personnel STAN who was very helpful with resolving most of my issues. He was patient, courteous and professional as he assisted me with navigating the system. I would suggest that Nextiva consider ways in which providers can upload their own business cover sheet so that this will automatically go out with each e-fax instead of the provider uploading this with each outgoing e-fax. Overall, the experience today was a good one and helped to alleviate many of my concerns.

It all started with the first meeting I had scheduled with a sales agent. The meeting was scheduled for 3pm and the sales agent was late. He made another sales agent take the call. Since I was curious about the system and I wanted to change services quickly, I waited. I talked to another sales agent and decided to go with their system. I was supposed to get connected to a support agent during the call to get my service started. 45 minutes later I was still on hold and decided to hang up. I emailed the support and sales agent to let them know that I couldn’t have waited any longer. They apologized and gave me some time options. I informed them that the next day at a certain time would work for me. I never heard back and TWO days later, I emailed the company to let them know I was not going to use their services anymore because of the horrible customer service (note that this was just an onboarding process). The sales agent finally got back to me. According to him, I should have called him the next day at the time I had suggested and they never confirmed. Needless to say, that is unheard of in customer service. The sales agent called me and wanted to make it sound like it was my mistake not to call them to chase my onboarding. I said I wanted to cancel and a refund of any amounts I might have been charged (the company advertises a 30-day money-back guaranteed) He said I would have to email their support myself to get it canceled ( the same support that couldn’t even get in touch with me for onboarding) I told him I wasn’t emailing anybody and he was the one to fix it. He supposedly emailed their finance team but 4 days later, I haven’t heard back. CONCLUSION: Run from this company as fast as you can. We signed up with them 33 days ago and…

We signed up with them 33 days ago and never got completely set up so we could not use the system. They make you wait at least 2 weeks for the first setup meeting which turns out to be a simple training. We realized that in order to make any changes we have to go through them and can not use the SMS unless you port your client numbers in. The information provided is different depending on who you talk to and they move like snails. We requested cancellation 3 days ago as of today’s date and our refund, still haven’t heard from the department who handles that. We do not recommend this company as they are too slow, put you off until your 30 money-back has passed and go silent when you want to cancel and a refund. The system is nothing new and you do not have control of how you want it to work. We lost money dealing with this company due to the inability to fast track the onboarding.

Nextiva’s Business telephone Service offers Voice Over Internet Protocol voice calling with advanced features like call forwarding, call screeningcall routing, and the ability to send/receive unlimited messages from a desktop or mobile app.

Nextiva also offers free number porting, allowing users to keep any existing phone numbers while adding new United States local or toll-free numbers. Unlimited calling to the US and Canada, call recording, and voicemail to email and text capabilities are also available.

Agents are able to take calls from any device or even switch devices in the middle of a call if needed. Customizable priority alerts let customers know when their most important clients are on the line, giving them time to prepare for the call.

Admins may also customize extension numbers, use the push-to-talk feature, and anonymously reject and block calls from certain numbers.

Nextiva’s multi-level auto-attendant, makes call routing even easier, decreasing customer wait times and allowing team members to take calls from anywhere. To allow for better monitoring, each agent has their own status indicator and call presence settings.
